SEO seems a scary words, this three alphabetical characters was nothing until the internet age born. But now, every web has tobe SEO ed, every webmaster also wants tobe an SEO as well, many what so claimed a 'Professional SEO' born as opportunity knock. And there's no big secret that SEO charge is much more expensive then web design, hosting, and coding itself.
So what are behind the SEO process? I admit, only 3 process behind this scary word: patience, connections and a little research.
I'm not going to tell the SEO process, there are tons of tutorials of it. Try search on google, you will find it easily .. guaranteed.
But as title stated, how can we do that?
I'm on a little research, with a popular CMS .. I built a blog based site, offers some freebies (thing that audience really love) about 4 months ago. Thanks to the ping feature, everytime I post, automatically it will ping to a certain service and tell that a post have been made, so the blog is deserve tobe visited by that service.
I desperately made ten taylored unique post a day during my first month, with a simple math .. it would be at least 280 posts a month, with combination of pages, categories, tag, search I can expect more than 280 pages indexed by Google.
Consistency bring satisfy, in the first half month, my web started to receive traffic .. not a massive traffic, it was only ranging 20-30 unique visitors a day .. but that's not the point, the point is .. how did google (or other search engine) know the presence of my web, because I haven't had an opportunity to exchange link with other web?
It's from the ping! Every update, every ping is sent, my website is listed on the certain ping service blog page, a social bookmarking page etc .. eventhough only an instance. But that's enough, because ping service or social bookmarking website usually have very massive traffic, I believe crawler will visit often to that websites, so a flashy time is enough to get google crawler noticed.
